I've posted fliers, and just got on the computer to email our paper. I have one friend interested, she goes to the highschool and I expect to have those folks interested soon too.

It didn't go. I even went to the highschool myself and passed out stuff before I got kicked off the grounds, and almost everyone was supportive and happy to see me. But noone came.

Yea, I've had that same experience plenty of times myself. You need to stick with it though. Talking to people directly is better than just passing out flyers. Get a commitment from them to come too, and keep checking up on them to make sure they remember.
