Special interest groups want to preach that making someone abstain from consuming a single solitary drop of alcohol until they turn 21 is going to make all problem drinking including drunk driving go away.



There are those over 21 who drink and drive and cause accidents. Also it’s by people in their 30s, 40s, 50s, etc.

Exxon Valdez is an example that there are those adults who should focus on their own behaviour.



The Captain had alcohol on his breath and that Captain was way over 21.



A question could be, I know this is more in tuned with “Drinking Age”, but, did the 21 drinking age prevent Exxon Valdez?

In January 2003, my Premier went to Hawaii for a vacation. Hawaii as all the other states have complied with the NMDA (National Minimum Drinking Age) by setting it to 21.



My Premier who is also way over 21 while in Hawaii got caught driving drunk.
