How about scheduling a NYRA meeting on a Sunday in a week from now?

Well the NYRA Meetup is on Saturday of that weekend. If most of the members are ok with moving it to Sunday that'd be fine with me.

Ok, we need to decide whether we are doing the meetup tomorrow or Sunday, and who will be coming. All NYRA NYC members who frequent the forums get your asses in gear and respond here about both.

Sunday is fine. I'm flexible and can do whichever day is most productive. I'll call Kathleen now to get a reading from her.

Kathleen isn't going to be able to make it this weekend for either day. She is swamped with work.

Pics of me and Ana can be found here:

Pics of any members who aren't in that thread yet can be taken at the meeting with our new camera phone (quality ain't great but at least it's something).

Anyone else who is showing up, please RSVP here so we have a sense of what to prepare for.

Anyone know where to find Scott? And what's up with Gella? We should email that Deanne person too.

Gella is working Sunday. Works every Sunday. We can email Deanne as soon as we are sure when/where we are having the meeting. David has been busy with family related stuff if I remember correctly. No clue what's up with Arpan and others since they don't seem to frequent the forums much. Would be good to contact some of the Jersey people.

Another good idea would be posting to the NYRA-Northeast list. Especially considering New York is in the Northeast and there are many NYRA members on that list.

Northeast of where? And what's a list again? :P

We will follow your recommendation promptly.

I talked to Scott, he said there's a 90% chance he'll be there. Will be sending email out to NYRA Northeast (I almost typed Northwest! lol) shortly.

Alex, go approve the email sent to the NYRA Northeast list so it can get there sooner.

Anyway, how is the Virgin Megastore location working out for you guys? Sounds to me like a good spot, but I'm just trying to get an idea of good meeting places.:)

It works really well. The cafe is surprisingly nice there without having it be all closed off (at least the one in Union Square is, I don't know about other states and location) and the coffee is some of my favorite. If the other cafe's are decent then I definitely recommend it. :b:

Don't know if we have one around here, but I had thought along the lines of Borders or Barnes & Noble cafes.

You should check out what meetup suggests for the dc nyra meetup.

We could also use the Electric Maid.

I've considered that, though a little harder for me to get to.:)

I will be updating the NYC Chapter Pics thread in a few. All potential NYRA NYC members should take a look to familarize yourselves with more of us.
