What are some other views on governments that exist? Are you strictly a democratic capitalist, or do you think that socialism can exist as a government. What do you think of other ruling party's that are in existance? Are you anti-government? Anarchistic? Theocratic? Voice your opinions about the ruling bodies that be, what you think should change about our government, and what you think of others.

Good topic, could spark some good discussions on here.
Personally i'm a libertarian and believe that government's role should be as subdued as possible. Though i recognize some of the problems with unchecked capitolism. It is a difficult balance to find.
I've been giving this a lot of thought recently, reading many political philsophers; Marx, Nietzsche, Locke, Rousseau. It is an incredibly interesting subject.
Ultimatly though i feel that humans are imperfect beings, and no matter what will make bad desicions, either intentional or accidental. From some discussions i've had socialist types know this and don't want to let individuals screw up, so they want government to come in and protect people. Libertarians know this same thing and know that government are people too, and better to let individuals make mistakes that affect only themselves than have government leaders make mistakes and affect the whole country. So the less power in the government the better.
