Dear Friends,

I support a great website that helps me stay informed and active about social change by and with young people. I'm writing to you to recommend that you visit the site, especially if you feel discouraged about the situation facing children and youth today. You'll be glad you did.

The Freechild Project is a website that seeks to build active democracy by making social change action, education, and resources more accessible for young people around the world, especially those who have been historically denied participation.

Freechild is an independent website, unrestricted by foundations, schools, or government controls. Because of that, Freechild offers a ton of resources that connect a variety of topics relevant to youth, including social justice activism, youth liberation, student-led education reform, and more.

Freechild also offers a far-reaching monthly newsletter, active discussion groups, and powerful new publications on a regular basis.

If you'd like to try it out, just check out the website at http://freechild.org. You can subscribe to the Freechild Newsletter at http://lists.riseup.net/www/subrequest/freechild
